Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Yellow Belt Certification
  • TWI Certification
  • Forklift Certification
  • 5 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment
  • Three (3) years experience in Manhattan WM
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel
  • Ability to climb or balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk or hear

Nice To Haves

  • Orange Belt Certification
  • 6 months of warehouse III experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center
  • Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality
  • Manage tasks within warehouse management system to ensure orders are shipped correctly throughout the day
  • Communicate to associates and management through visual aids and daily meetings team status to ensure clarity from top to bottom of organization
  • Implement improvements to warehouse tasks to meet customer demands while maintaining safety and quality levels
  • Correct deviations in the process and establish root cause in order to correct issue permanently
  • Implement visual aids with the distribution center in compliance with company policy
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk
  • This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
