JOB OVERVIEW The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordination of necessary tasks in the support of an efficient quality system throughout the organization. The Compliance Coordinator will interface with multiple departments to ensure efficient performance between the Quality organization and the rest of the MRO. The Compliance Coordinator reports to the VP of Compliance, Training, and EHS.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Sound organizational skills with above-average attention to detail and Ability to function satisfactorily in a fast-paced multifaceted environment.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook- and ability to learn other software programs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S and fluent in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Perform the Prior Testing History verification for FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.
  • Maintain employee FAA DA files.
  • Track and coordinate all foreign certification renewals.
  • Perform baseline research for new certification requests.
  • Coordinate and monitor interdepartmental collaboration for compliance deadlines.
  • Manage SMS Incident Reporting System as required by QuickTurn Engine Center’s SMS Program.
  • Collect and organize safety data to evaluate SMS system performance as required by QuickTurn Engine Center’s SMS Program.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive safety culture and increasing staff awareness of safety protocols by means of scheduled communications.
  • Manage SMS databases, tracking systems, and records.
  • Assist CI Engineer with preparing statistical reports as required.
  • Maintain and update the Technical Data Log.
  • Assist Technical Publications Analyst with internal distribution of manual and form revision packages.
  • Assist Technical Publications Analyst with coordination and tracking of required internal awareness training for shop process changes.
