About The Position

Responsible to the manage Sterile Processing for the operation and administration of the Sterile Processing systems, including effective management of clinical systems, human resources, finances and the work environment. Develops, implements, and monitors sterile processing standards, and promotes the overall goals and objectives of the department’s mission. Must be able to adjust to and lead others through a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• Extensive Operating Room experience preferred.
• Must have in depth experience and knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation.
• Must have in depth experience and knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation.
• Must be able to organize work load, accomplish goals and objectives, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day to day operations of the Sterile Processing.
• Manages the availability of instruments to meet the OR schedule demands in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates accountability by staying informed of current changes in practice, new equipment, and Quality initiatives.
• Oversees all repair and replacement of surgical instrumentation.
