About The Position

This position directs and coordinates product critical tracking events for Performance Food Group (PFG) through PFG Instant Recall system, and all PFG Supplier Approval Program compliance activities via the Share-ify system. Coordinate product critical tracking events Communicate with suppliers, customers, government agencies, and internal departments. Critical tracking events cost recovery functions. Organize and maintain critical tracking events documents, files, and records.. Coordinate PFG supplier approval program compliance ensuring supplier load compliance and Environmental Social Governance documents via the Share-ify system. Overnight travel for training, audits at PFG OpCos, or industry events Manage the distribution of PFG compliance documents to customers who request them. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 0-6 Months
  • Ability to work independently as well as interact with other departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet critical tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to accept changing work demands and seek opportunities to improve food safety systems.
  • Overnight travel; ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 3 Years
  • Prefer experience in Distribution Center Food Service Operations, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, Food Production/Operations, Supply Chain, or related discipline
