About The Position

As a Cook at Marquis Companies, you will be responsible for creating delectable dishes for the growing menu. This role is an opportunity for someone passionate about culinary arts and involves following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications. You will also prepare food items for service, set up an efficient flow of the cook line, and assist with the sanitation of the kitchen, walk-in, and storage areas. Marquis Companies operates 26 senior care facilities in Oregon, Nevada, and California, and provides rehab and pharmacy services nationwide, with a family of over 4,000 employees united by the purpose to be champions of every journey.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife-handling skills
  • Obtain and maintain a food handler’s card
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate
