About The Position

THE ROLE We are looking for Cooks to join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As a Cook, you are responsible for producing all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following Legends’ specifications, recipes and technique and maintaining sanitation standards. ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follows Executive Chef, Sous Chefs and/or Culinary Supervisors/Leads assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation. Prepares food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures. Maintains HACCP standards ensuring a high-quality level of food, food temperatures, rotation of product, cleanliness and sanitation standards. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls, floors and drains. Ensures all food preparation equipment is clean, sanitized, and kept in a safe and operable condition; report issues to lead or supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium and catering events. Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training. COMPENSATION Competitive salary of $18-$20/hr. commensurate with experience.
