About The Position

We require an experienced cook who is familiar with a wide range of cooking techniques, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. You must ensure that every order is cooked properly according to our standard recipes and that it fully satisfies our guests' demands and requests. Our ideal candidate has outstanding time management skills as well as a team-first mindset to effectively assist other kitchen personnel and keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

  • Experience in food service or food preparation preferred
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must meet minimum legal age requirement
  • Stand for extended periods while preparing and cooking food
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
  • Work in hot or cold kitchen environments

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items per company recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items (grilling, broiling, sautéing, etc.) and prepare sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments
  • Set up, stock, and maintain cooking stations for each shift
  • Ensure food is properly stored, meet waste control guidelines, and consistently uphold quality standards
  • Keep all work areas, counters, equipment, and refrigeration clean and sanitary
  • Follow established recipes and presentation standards for all menu items
  • Assist with prep, dishwashing, or other kitchen duties as needed
  • Interact with team members, vendors, and guests in a professional, positive manner
  • Meet all safety and sanitation requirements for kitchen equipment and food storage
