About The Position

Stein Eriksen Lodge is an authentic European lodge nestled mid-mountain at the acclaimed Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, named after Norwegian Olympic Gold Medal skier Stein Eriksen. It is known as a premiere year-round destination. The Stein Collection, which includes Stein Eriksen Lodge, Stein Eriksen Residences, The Chateaux Deer Valley, and The Chateaux Residences, aims to create legendary experiences for its team members, guests, and owners. The Cook II position involves performing a wide range of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu specifications designed by the Executive Chef, producing 'Me en Place' for all kitchen outlets, and preparing food to customer and Executive Chef specifications, playing a key role in creating a memorable guest experience.

Requirements

  • Six months - One year in Foods Industry in comparable job
  • Professional appearance
  • Food handler’s permit or sanitation certificate
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner
  • Consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment
  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures
  • Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef
  • Label and date products produced on a daily basis
  • Follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines
  • Perform work related duties as assigned
  • Participate in department meetings
