Under supervision, prepares and cooks food. Scope Reviews menus daily to determine quantities of food and supplies needed. Prepares food for cafeteria, patient food service and catering using creativity, quality, consistency, and promptness. Follow and comply with recipe standards. Monitors and replenishes food as needed for cafeteria, catering, or patient trays. Ensures food is being handled and stored to Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Operates various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Records temperatures of refrigerators. Ensures equipment is in good working condition. Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
