About The Position

As a Cook/Floater , you will provide versatile culinary support across multiple kitchen stations, ensuring consistent food quality and service. This role requires adaptability, strong cooking skills, and the ability to step into various positions as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations during peak hours, staff absences, or special events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and stations
  • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • High volume, catering, bar & grill, hot entree preparation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and procedures.
  • Rotate between stations (grill, sauté, prep, pantry, etc.) based on daily staffing needs.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to supervisors.
  • Support special events, catering, or high-volume service as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
