About The Position

COOK/CONCESSIONS ATTENDANT Oquirrh Hills Golf Course Part-time, Seasonal $15.97/hr. + Tips and Catering Gratuities The Oquirrh Hills Cafe is one of the most beautiful spots in the valley to grab a bite to eat. Whether it's a snack before hitting the back nine, grabbing a cold one for the course, or just sitting on the patio to enjoy lunch with a beautiful view, this special gem is a favorite stop while enjoying the Oquirrh Hills Golf Course. A typical work day will include taking orders, selling packaged food products, processing payments through the computerized system, and preparing/cooking food. Some of our more popular items include hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries. We also sale a lot of drinks and cold ones for the course. You will also help with the catering of larger scale events such as tournaments and year-end awards banquets. This includes bulk preparation of food items, set-up, service, and take-down. Candidates will need to: Be at least 21 years old Obtain food handler's permit Obtain on-premise safe serve or any alcohol server permit issued by the State Know your way around a kitchen through either home or paid experience Be able to use a computerized point of sale system, and Be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Short-order cook experience is highly desired. Hours will vary. This is a part-time, seasonal position. DISCLAIMER - Tooele City is a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
