ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Seeking a polished, detail‑driven Convention Services Manager to join our Connie Award winning team at Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square. In this role, you’ll bring memorable meetings and events to life at our upscale, high‑energy property located in the heart of Southlake Town Square. What You’ll Do · Serve as the primary contact for group clients—from contract turnover to final billing Plan and execute meetings, banquets, and events with precision and Hilton‑level hospitality Create event resumes, BEOs, diagrams, and detailed schedules Partner with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure seamless delivery Support events on‑site with a warm, professional, solutions‑focused presence Manage room block performance and ensure accurate forecasting and billing What We’re Looking For · 2–4 years of hotel events, catering, or convention services experience (Hilton preferred but not required) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple programs in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge of Delphi is a plus Flexible schedule availability Who Thrives Here Guest‑focused communicators, organized multitaskers, calm problem‑solvers, and hospitality team players who love creating exceptional event experiences. Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hotel events, catering, or convention services experience (Hilton preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple programs in a fast‑paced environment
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • 2 or more years of hotel catering experience or similar industry
  • Proven track record of a consistent ability to provide quality service
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Hotel, Westmont and brand policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of the catering, food & beverage with banquet knowledge
  • Skills needed to manage the people and variables encountered in the development and implementation of major functions
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer and associate relations skills
  • Strong presentation and platform skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong “closing skills”
  • Strong ‘persuasion” skills
  • Ability to use standard software applications and hotel system

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Delphi is a plus
  • Computer literate with Delphi preferred or other system used in hotel
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
