Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience with vehicle titles
  • Experience with handling consumer lending insurance claims
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they apply the release of titles
  • Ability to collaborate with other managers and work to create balanced processes that satisfy the interests of both parties.
  • Ability to work Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm EST

Responsibilities

  • Act as the backup to the Bank Secrecy Act officer.
  • Process consumer lien releases, utilizing ACUs internal lien release tracking system, adhering to all policies and procedures related to the processing of Consumer Lending lien release requests.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for lien releases.
  • Answer title lien release related member inquiries or concerns in person, by email, fax, or telephone in a professional manner.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact for ACU for insurance claim related scenarios. This includes GAP claims, debt protection claims, and life insurance claims.
  • Assist the Controls Manager in preparing Supervisory Committee documents.
  • Other duties as requested by the Controls Manager or the Chief Risk Officer
