Controls Engineer
About The Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and maintain all control circuits and human machine interfaces Provide input on all PLC applications Responsible for database integration to machines on the plant floor Work closely with factory employees and supervisory personnel providing Controls Engineering services across all production departments Provide Controls Engineering input during product line start-ups and upgrading of existing production facilities Initiate cost reduction proposals through automation and manufacturing processes. Provide input to all continuous improvement suggestions in areas assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High emotional intelligence. Pay close attention to detail. High level of creativity and problem solving. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
