International is currently seeking a Controls Engineer Senior to join our team!

International has an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer Senior to join our team in Huntsville AL. This level represents a professional who has moved beyond entry-level tasks to handle more specialized, independent assignments. In this role, you will apply established company policies and industry-standard practices to resolve a variety of moderate-scope challenges.
While you will work under limited supervision,typically receiving general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, and a moderate level of guidance and direction. You'll act as a bridge between high-level strategy and daily execution—building productive professional relationships and exercising sound judgment to determine the best course of action within defined procedures.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of product manufacturing experience
• OR
• Master's degree and no experience
• OR
• At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience
• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Studies equipment performance and reliability.
• Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
