This position entails developing PLC/SCADA/HMI programming skills through process automation and controls projects. The intern will be exposed to industrial software applications (industrial standard S88), GMP and GAMP5, read and understand P&IDs, high-level project management, and system integration (PLC/hardware, IT, etc).

Requirements

• BS Electrical Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, or BS Computer Engineering is preferred.
• Undergraduate with an interest in pursuing a career in Controls Engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Preference is given to candidates with an understanding of or exposure to control systems - components, programming, and their applications.
• Preference is given to candidates with an understanding of or exposure to instrumentation and controls design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control system logic software to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
• Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
• Assist with debugging integrated systems and the development of system documentation.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in pharma/biotech.
• Adheres to scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements of assigned tasks
• Develops collaborative partnerships with colleagues
