About The Position

Responsible for leading all financial and accounting operations for the organization and ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting, including revenue recognition, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements

• Experience with month-end, year-end closings, and audits.
• Proficiency in cash flow projections and sales and use tax.
• Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain compliance with corporate financial policies, state and federal regulations, and industry-specific reporting requirements.
• Coordinate year-end audits and manage relationships with external auditors and accounting firms.
• Lead the annual budgeting process in alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare rolling forecasts, pipeline projections, and variance analyses.
• Provide executive leadership with financial insights, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets.
• Implement and document accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with FAR (if government contracts apply), ASC 606 revenue recognition, and other relevant guidelines.
