About The Position

The Controller will oversee all accounting, fund reporting and financial operations for AREY Group and its affiliated entities. This role is responsible for the financial and accounting integrity, compliance, investor reporting and transaction execution across development, acquisitions and the operating assets. The Controller will bring experience in multifamily real estate, including acquisitions, development, and property management, and will play a central role in scaling the accounting function of the organization in a disciplined and sustainable manner in cross collaboration with other departments.

Requirements

• Proven multifamily real estate accounting and financial leadership experience and team building
• Strong understanding of accounting systems, controls, and compliance
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
• Experience scaling accounting finance teams and systems
• Comfort operating in a hands‑on environment during growth phases
