We are looking for a hands-on Controller who thrives in a product-driven, inventory-intensive environment. This role will own the integrity of our financial operations and partner closely with operations and supply chain leaders to drive accuracy, visibility, and growth. This position is critical to our strategic success, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements across the organization. You’ll play a key role in managing complex inventory and supply chain accounting while leading and developing a high-performing finance team. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, providing financial insight that supports decision-making and drives growth.

Requirements

  • NetSuite experience required, including hands-on experience in inventory and multi-entity environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience
  • At least 2 years in a management or leadership role
  • Strong technical understanding of US GAAP, inventory, and supply chain accounting
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including data modeling and large dataset analysis, with experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • ecommerce or consumer products industry experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Background in public accounting (Big 4 or top regional firm)
  • Proven success in scaling finance operations in a high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead all core accounting functions: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly close
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP, providing insights to executive leadership
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial dashboards to support business planning
  • Oversee inventory accounting, including valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and reconciliation processes
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring financial integrity and safeguarding assets
  • Act as a strategic finance partner, working closely with leaders across operations, supply chain, and sales to provide actionable insights
  • Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Mentor and grow the accounting team, cultivating a culture of excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement both in finance and across the organization
