Requirements

Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Deep knowledge of GAAP, FAR/CAS, and GovCon compliance
Experience with ERP systems (Navision/Business Central preferred) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and cost accounting
Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
Ensure GAAP compliance and proper revenue recognition for government contracts (T&M, CPFF, FFP)
Maintain and monitor indirect cost rates; oversee Incurred Cost Submissions and DCAA compliance
Lead audit preparation, tax filings, and internal controls
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Drive ERP optimization and process improvements across finance operations
Mentor and develop accounting team members
