About The Position

Security Equipment Supply is looking for a Controller who thrives in an environment where the fundamentals of accounting are steady but the opportunities to improve systems, processes, and scalability are constant.

Yes, there are monthly reports and close cycles. But this is not a role where you simply run the same checklist every month.

You’ll be working on multiple initiatives at the same time, often at different stages—from improving the close process, to optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, to strengthening controls and building a more scalable accounting engine for a growing company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Holds a current CPA license in good standing
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with audits and internal controls in system-driven environments.
• CPA with strong GAAP knowledge 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience with team leadership
• Experience owning the close process, GL, AP, and AR
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and reporting process with accuracy and discipline
• Work independently without needing constant direction
• Identify process improvements and system opportunities
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping the core accounting function running smoothly
• Turn complex accounting and ERP processes into practical, scalable solutions
