About The Position

Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Controller to lead our financial operations and help guide the organization’s continued growth and stability. As Controller, you will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive leadership, providing financial insights that inform key decisions and long-term planning. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys balancing hands-on financial management with strategic oversight, while mentoring and developing a capable finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification required
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and financial analysis
  • Experience with payroll management and accounting process optimization
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and priorities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or clinic experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements and reports
  • Partner with executive leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
  • Establish financial benchmarks, KPIs, and reporting standards
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
  • Oversee cash flow management, including AR, AP, and treasury functions
  • Manage and coordinate external audits
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting systems, policies, and workflows
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 finance professionals
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support career development planning
