About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller Specialist to join our team and support our clients in managing their financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience in financial analysis, and the ability to provide strategic insights to enhance financial performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
  • QuickBooks certified preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Assist in the coordination and support of financial audits and reviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on accounting principles and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
