About The Position

Micro-Tech Designs, a systems integrator primarily focused in waste/waste water market located in Hamstead, Maryland has an immediate opening for a Control Panel Design Engineer. Requirements

• Familiarity with programmable logic controller programming and power distribution equipment such as MCC's, VFD's, and starters.
• Excellent problem solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with control panel components such as relays, timers, and pilot devices is a plus.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls used in the waste-water industry also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design and execution of projects
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle including developing bill of materials, submittals, start-up, creating schedules, and providing support.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate technical solutions
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
