The purpose of the Contributions & Enrollment Associate is to assist the Contributions & Enrollment department with administrative work. The Contributions & Enrollment Associate will be responsible for assisting with audit requests, which includes pulling documentation related to preliminary audit findings. This position also participates in open enrollment activities in collaboration and coordination with the New Membership Team.

Requirements

  • 1 ~ 2 years of related experience
  • Working knowledge or experience in, eligibility, and billing
  • Working knowledge of: audit and billing procedures eligibility rules and enrollment functions
  • High School Diploma
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Communication, organizational, analytical, and deductive reasoning
  • Problem solving, multi-tasking and decision-making skills
  • Customer service

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework preferred
  • Preferable experience in eligibility rules including COBRA and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and an understanding of Collective Bargaining Agreements

Responsibilities

  • Run the Dependent Age 26 report and send letters
  • Run open workflow report in Vitech and distribute to Contributions & Enrollment representatives
  • Upload proof documents, beneficiary forms, etc. to Database Management System (DMS)
  • Research and respond to emails received to inboxes; Updates, UHH Insurance, DOCS, and AUR-CA-FX
  • Research and enter life claims into the Dearborn portal
  • Process demographic change requests and contact updates provided by Health Care Delivery
  • Scans payments mailed directly to the Fund
  • Identifies and keeps management appraised of any upcoming new business
  • Back up to any mail received in Aurora applicable to Contributions & Enrollment
  • Returned Mail from IRS as applicable
  • Set goals and achieve measurable results
  • Contributes ideas to plans and achieving department goals
