About The Position

R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams and SharePoint environments.
• Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Experience with DoD contracts (desired)
• Experience in EVM and developing financial/budget analyses (desired)

Responsibilities

• Provide general acquisition and program management support.
• Provides contract analysis and reconciliation support for shipbuilding contracts.
• Assists program office with drafting various contract documents including base contracts, modifications, CDRL letters and other contractual correspondence.
• Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government.
• Provide contract pricing analysis (i.e. REAs and ECPs) acting as a liaison / intermidiary between the technical community and cost esimating team.
• Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other reoccurring meetings/briefs
