About The Position

The Contracts Analyst – Biomed is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing medical equipment service contracts across supported hospitals. This role partners with Corporate Leadership and Support Teams, Hospital Biomed and Clinical Teams, Supply Chain, Finance, and external vendors to ensure appropriate contract coverage, cost control, and service performance on equipment throughout the equipment lifecycle. Responsibilities include managing OEM and third-party service agreements, supporting contract renewals and negotiations, monitoring vendor performance against contract terms and SLAs, analyzing service spend and invoices, and identifying opportunities for contract optimization. The role supports warranty and post warranty service strategies, maintains accurate contract data in enterprise systems, and prepares contract recommendations and documentation to support operational and leadership decision making. This is a contract focused, operational role and not a traditional business intelligence or reporting only position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in contract analysis, contract management, and vendor management required; healthcare or medical equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations and contract renewals.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office required.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems; Lawson preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS/EAM platforms required; Nuvolo a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi hospital or regional operations a plus.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik) a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare supply chain or biomedical engineering operations preferred.
  • Exposure to GPO or IDN contract structures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
