About The Position

You will be the Contracts Management Staff for the Munitions Acceleration Contracts team. Our team is responsible for integrating prime contracts with U.S. Government requirements to ensure rapid, compliant execution of Munitions Acceleration Initiatives. What You Will Be Doing As the Contracts Management Staff you will be responsible for providing expert contract guidance and ensuring alignment with strategic MAI goals. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Partner with the MAI team and U.S. Government stakeholders to align framework agreements and multi‑year prime contracts with MAI strategic objectives. Advise on optimal contract structures, risk allocation, financing, payments, and negotiation terms. Enforce standardized contracting policies, procedures, and clause libraries across all acceleration initiatives. Maintain clear, ongoing communication of contract status, risks, and changes to all relevant program stakeholders. Support day‑to-day coordination, tracking, and configuration control of MAI documentation. Ensure contracts comply with FAR/DFARS and all applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., export control, cybersecurity, small business participation). Support the development of a long term execution strategy and operating cadence for this new model of MAI multi-year procurement contracts. Employee will telework <50% for this position and domestic. Requirements

  • Experience with US Government and/or International/FMS contracts
  • Experience with contract negotiations (e.g., price, terms, schedule, etc.)
  • Experience with FAR and DFARS
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Contract type knowledge: FFP, FPIF, and profit sharing
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and seeking Contracts / Legal approval of special terms and conditions
  • Experience problem solving, including identifying issues, and developing solutions / terms to mitigate contractual risk
  • Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships; experience briefing / communicating with senior leadership team
  • Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
  • Experience working autonomously with general direction
  • Experience handling multiple, widely varied assignments
  • Detail oriented, motivated self-starter, and teamwork oriented
  • Understanding of supply chain purchase orders, supplemental flow down of prime contract terms, approval processes, and documentation into resulting contracts
