Advanced Energy is looking for a Contracts and Legal Operations and Technology Analyst to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Contracts and Legal Operations and Technology Analyst will be responsible for contracts administration, managing and refining the contract lifecycle management system, and ensuring contracts are efficiently reviewed, executed, and accounted for. This position will also provide other operational support to the Legal department, including managing the department’s legal technology tools and implementing new legal technologies. Accordingly, in addition to contract administration skills, proficiency with and the ability to learn how to improve the SaaS and other computer systems that the Legal department uses is necessary.

  • Ability to proactively solve problems with minimal guidance.
  • Work expeditiously and under time constraints.

  • Contract administration, legal operations and/or technology experience is valuable for this position, but entry-level candidates may be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or expected Bachelor’s degree by no later than June 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the contracts review process from contract submission to execution and storage, ensuring adherence to internal processes.
  • Monitor status of contracts review, assign contracts to team members to review, and ensure that contracts move smoothly through contracts review process.
  • Perform contracts administrator role.
  • Maintain contracts database.
  • Obtain approval for signature of contracts per internal processes.
  • Provide users with contract data such as termination date and other contract terms.
  • Create contract management and status reports as requested by users.
  • Manage contracts lifecycle management system (SaaS) and improve its functionality.
  • Troubleshoot system and procedural issues in the SaaS contracts lifecycle management system.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries of contracts and status of contracts through shared inbox, and direct other inquiries to appropriate persons.
  • Maintain contracts template library and other contracts system infrastructure.
  • Review and revise less complicated contracts such as confidentiality agreements.
  • Serve as the liaison on contracts between Legal department and various other departments.
  • Communicate with both contracts reviewers and contract review requestors.
  • Act as a first point of contact and offer direction to the business on how to request support from the Legal department, ensuring proper triage and assignment.
  • Provide direct support and training to business units to help them navigate the Legal department’s systems and processes.
  • Provide Legal department with operational support including administering software and SaaS programs in addition to the contracts lifecycle management system such as billing and invoicing system, e-discovery, SharePoint sites, Smartsheet sites, and document retention systems.
  • Manage Legal department’s SaaS programs including maintaining SharePoint site.
  • Assist the Legal team in evaluating whether we should consider new programs to replace current ones; run evaluations of external technology vendors.
  • Endeavor to improve Legal operations and SaaS systems and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned
