About The Position

This role focuses on drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts with medical facility-based customers. Additionally, it involves managing the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks and patents. The Contracts Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring contracts are compliant and meeting business needs, thereby supporting the overall strategic direction of the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with commercial contract preparation, drafting, redlining, and negotiation.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in contracts or intellectual property.
  • Contract Management Certification or Paralegal certificate required.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in independent problem-solving and creative solutions.
  • Experience with trademark and patent processes is a bonus.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Review and redline contract language to conform with acceptable terms and conditions, BAA, NDA, GPO, MPA, ISA, Rental Agreements and more.
  • Manage multiple priorities with urgent deadlines.
  • Create and maintain a contracts playbook for consistent responses.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and cross-functional teams to maintain a suitable contracts strategy.
  • Exhibit excellent decision-making skills to resolve conflicts in negotiations.
  • Provide reporting to senior management on high-level contract issues.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact and expert for contract management systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing the company’s trademark and patent portfolios.
  • Oversee the filing, maintenance, and renewal of trademarks and patents.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on trademark issues.
  • Lead the preparation and filing of trademark and patent applications.
