About The Position

The Contract Administrator will act as the primary point of contact with customers, business partners, and internal/external stakeholders in conducting contract negotiations, contract preparation, and contract administration.

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least five years of previous contract administration experience.
  • Minimum one year as a Contracts Administrator I or 30 months of contracts knowledge and experience.
  • Google Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with above-average skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Administer government and commercial contracts, including coordinating modifications and changes when necessary.
  • Assist the Capture and Proposal Department with proposal preparation including, but not limited to customer contact activities, providing contract metrics, and briefing the Capture and Proposal team on contract requirements.
  • Assist in preparing solicitation responses and bids.
  • Complete documentation required to maintain and update catalog contracts.
  • Prepare and submit required reports so they are received on time according to contract requirements.
  • Prepare and process contractual reports concerning on-time delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Compile and analyze contract data and information from various internal and external sources to provide recommendations for quality improvements, new business opportunities, and processes associated with government contracts.
  • Maintain historical information related to contracts from contract award to closeout.
  • Monitor contract performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting, and other contractual requirements.
  • Provide detailed, accurate analysis of contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Provide guidance and advice to other departments on contractual obligations and regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and other agency FAR supplements.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Provide detailed, accurate analysis of contract terms and conditions.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
  • Perform quality control and internal audits of work performed by TSSi teams (including Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics) as necessary to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Make recommendations on and assist in developing processes to support contract specifications.
