About this role The Contract Technical Recruiter is responsible for driving execution across Prescryptive’s Software Engineering hiring needs during a critical growth period. This role focuses on building pipeline, assessing candidates, managing interview processes, and closing talent across multiple technical disciplines. Working in close partnership with hiring managers and the People team, this recruiter ensures roles move efficiently from active search to accepted offer, maintaining a high bar for talent and a strong candidate experience throughout. This role requires the ability to operate with urgency, manage multiple searches simultaneously, and engage senior-level technical talent in a competitive market.

Requirements

  • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles, including senior and leadership-level engineering talent
  • Strong sourcing capability and ability to build pipeline quickly in competitive markets
  • Experience managing multiple active searches and driving candidates through full interview processes
  • Demonstrated success closing candidates
  • Clear, direct communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
  • Embodies Prescryptive’s values of ownership, accountability, and bias for action
  • 5 or more years of technical recruiting experience in a product or technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience hiring for software engineering and related technical roles
  • Proven ability to source, engage, and close passive candidates
  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Ownership: Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple technical roles through proactive sourcing and outreach
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct high-quality recruiter screens to evaluate alignment, level, and candidate motivations
  • Process Execution: Drive candidates through the interview lifecycle with speed, coordination, and attention to detail
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner closely with hiring managers to maintain momentum, align on candidate quality, and ensure timely decisions
  • Closing and Candidate Experience: Support offer processes and actively manage candidate engagement to successfully close hires
  • Source and engage candidates for Domain Leads in Engineering, Principal and Senior Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Database Administrators, Technical Product Managers, and UX and Product Design professionals
  • Build and manage active pipelines across multiple concurrent searches
  • Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical alignment at a high level, leveling, and candidate fit
  • Drive interview scheduling and coordination in partnership with recruiting support or hiring teams
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process
  • Identify and mitigate process bottlenecks to ensure speed and efficiency
  • Provide real-time feedback to hiring managers on pipeline quality and market dynamics
  • Support offer presentation and closing, including navigating candidate questions and competing opportunities
