Your Assignment at a Glance Lead and independently manage end-to-end execution of complex, multi-phased IT software deployment projects. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Conduct stakeholder communication, including executive status reporting and issue escalation. Implement and enforce PMO best practices, governance, and reporting frameworks using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and project success. Drive a 360-degree project management approach, considering all aspects of scope, risks, resources, and stakeholder impacts. Foster strong collaboration between business teams, IT stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to ensure seamless execution. Develop outside-the-box solutions to overcome project roadblocks and drive successful outcomes. Provide executive-level status reporting, clearly articulating progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Manage system integration, testing strategies, and deployment plans. Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Estimated to be a 6 month assignment What We Need From You 15+ years of project management experience in IT software deployment projects. Proven track record of single-handedly delivering 5+ complex, multi-phased critical projects. Extensive knowledge of PMO frameworks, governance models, and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet). Strong expertise in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and strategic problem-solving. Ability to think holistically (360-degree viewpoint) while also focusing on critical project details. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. PMP, SCM, or other project management certifications are a plus. Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems integration is a plus. Travel Requirements Role will be at our Friedkin Corporate Campus. If assigned to a project in our supply chain operations, this contractor may occasionally need to travel to our Vehicle Processing Center (North Houston) or Parts Distribution Center (Sealy, TX).
