About The Position

A. Performs all contractual PBT tasks under the USVI ACC.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HUD rules and regulations (4350.3)
  • Knowledge of report preparation techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to research regulations.
  • Ability to provide information in a courteous diplomatic manner.
  • Skill in mathematics, technical writing, data entry and electronic record keeping.
  • Skill and proficiency in the use of proprietary software for PBT tasks.
  • Ability to maintain a variety of files and records, and to prepare reports and answer questions from the records.
  • Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, however significant and relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience performing similar tasks or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Insurable under the agency’s insurance policy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HUD’s Project based section 8 program or other housing programs is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and process monthly HAP vouchers.
  • Adjust contract rents annually and renew HAP contracts.
  • Process and pay special claims.
  • Receive, log and intermediate customer service calls.
  • Conduct onsite management and occupancy reviews and produce reports.
  • Maintain electronic files and records retention in accordance with HUD and internal policy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Perform any special projects or produce ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Utilize HUD systems to ensure data integrity.
