This is a remote-friendly hybrid role with a preference for candidates based in New York City, where we have a vibrant HQ and frequent in-person collaboration. The Role We’re looking for a senior-level freelance recruiter to partner with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on high-impact GTM searches, primarily across Brand, Growth Marketing, and related leadership roles in the U.S., Canada and LATAM. You’ll play a key role in sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier, values-aligned talent in a fast-moving, creative, and data-driven environment. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing talent markets and the ability to tell compelling stories that attract the best candidates. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house recruiting team to build strong pipelines, lead candidate engagement, and help shape what great hiring looks like at CookUnity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth, product-led companies, with a focus on GTM and Marketing roles.
  • Deep understanding of the Brand, Growth, and Performance Marketing landscape in the U.S. market.
  • Proven success sourcing and closing senior-level marketing and creative leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills—you can confidently advise and influence hiring decisions.
  • Skilled in sourcing, pipeline management, and ATS tools (we use Greenhouse).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a genuine ability to engage candidates with authenticity.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with North American and LATAM markets.
  • Understanding of talent marketing and employer branding tactics.
  • Conversational Spanish is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and the in-house recruiting team to own full-cycle searches or key portions of them, depending on project needs.
  • Build strong pipelines of top marketing talent, with a focus on Brand, Growth, and Creative leadership roles.
  • Act as a trusted partner and advisor to hiring managers—leading intake sessions, providing market insights, and supporting hiring strategy discussions.
  • Drive proactive sourcing and outreach, using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, GEM, and AI tools to identify top talent in competitive GTM spaces.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout every stage of the process.
  • Facilitate interview debriefs and structured decision-making, ensuring alignment with CookUnity’s values and leadership principles.
  • Partner with the team on employer branding and talent marketing initiatives to strengthen our presence in the marketing community.
  • Track and share progress through a data-informed lens, optimizing funnel health and hiring velocity.
