About The Position

As Amylyx Pharmaceuticals continues to evolve and execute against key priorities, we are seeking a highly driven Contract Recruiter to support hiring across Clinical Sciences, R&D, and Technical Operations. This six-month contract role will play a critical part in building talent pipelines and delivering high-quality candidate slates for specialized scientific and technical roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; we value diverse career paths and will gladly consider candidates whose experience, skills, and accomplishments demonstrate success in lieu of formal education
  • Demonstrated recruiting experience supporting Clinical, Scientific, R&D, or Technical Operations roles
  • Strong sourcing capability, particularly with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working Applicant Tracking systems, experience with Greenhouse a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in biotech, life sciences, or highly specialized technical environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a full-cycle recruiting partner focused on sourcing, pipelining, and candidate generation across Clinical Sciences, R&D, and Technical Operations
  • Execute targeted sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify and engage passive talent
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of highly qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure compliance, visibility, and seamless workflow management
  • Track candidate progress through each stage of the hiring process, updating statuses, notes, and interview results in real time
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, technical capabilities, and candidate profiles
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach, screening, and qualification conversations
  • Deliver well-matched candidate slates aligned with hiring manager expectations
  • Provide consistent updates on pipeline activity, market insights, and sourcing progress
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Collaborate effectively with HR and Talent Acquisition team members to support hiring objectives
  • Support recruiting execution while maintaining speed, quality, and attention to detail
