About The Position

The Project and Contract Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational projects and will manage the organization's contracts, grants, Memoranda of Agreement (MOUs), and vendor agreements. This role ensures compliance with funder requirements, supports program and projects teams in meeting deliverables, and strengthens organizational systems for tracking, reporting, and quality assurance. The position will be responsible for coordinating between internal departments such as fiscal, program, compliance, and HR to ensure all contract deliverables are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled at cross-functional communication, and experienced in nonprofit contract management. The ideal candidate is someone who has strong flexibility and adaptability skills. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, scopes of work, and resource allocation.
  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete complex projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in each project and delegates accordingly.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project with a high level of customer service.
  • Develop reporting dashboards, progress updates and presentations for internal and external partners.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Prepares and submits proposals for grants selected by senior leadership.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including intake, review, compliance tracking, and closeout.
  • Ensure all funder requirements, deliverables, and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with Finance to create systems and monitor budgets, allowable costs, invoice schedules, and revenue projections.
  • Maintain accurate contract files, documentation, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Monitor contract performance metrics and work with program and compliance teams to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and government agencies, foundations, vendors, and partner entities.
  • Support the annual contract renewal and audit preparation processes
  • Support grant writing and reporting efforts as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational priorities.
