About The Position

Correctional Health Partners (CHP) specializes in customized third-party administrative (TPA) services. We develop strong working relationships with hospitals and providers with a focus on trust, compassion, and integrity. Our teamwork-driven services ensure CHP serves the needs of each unique partnership while prioritizing healthcare best practices. We are looking for a CONTRACT AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT to assist in all aspects of the negotiation of complex provider contracts for all account managers and CHP clients. Manage a high volume of inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing tasks and resolving issues in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare-related field preferred but not required.
  • Degree or Professional Development courses in health care management are preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in the administration of government or health care contracting preferred.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and management sufficient to manage, direct, and coordinate the operation of a major health care organization.
  • Knowledge of the purposes, organization, and policies of the community’s health systems is sufficient to interact with other health care providers.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for aiding and supporting in the coordination, administration, and performance of all aspects of account management and contract requirements
  • Acts as support for CHP account managers, who are leads for contracted client accounts.
  • Assists with arranging internal meetings in advance of client meetings and setting agenda(s) for each.
  • Assists in ensuring all CHP departments are notified of new business strategies and initiatives for the contracted client(s) and that the CHP’s resources are utilized appropriately
  • Participates in contracting providers, either directly or indirectly, working with account managers in outreach and all aspects of contracting with community and specialty providers for all clients.
  • Serves as the primary credentialing specialist for all clients, leading all credentialing processes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
