About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Air Ambulance Flight Nurse RN to join our team in Southern Florida. As a Flight Nurse, you will provide critical care to patients during air medical transports, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the flight.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 3 years of critical care or emergency nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Current Passport
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Drug Screen And background check required
• Available within a 45-minute drive from FLL International Airport

Nice To Haves

• Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification, desired

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during air ambulance flights
• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as needed
• Collaborate with the flight team to ensure safe and efficient patient transport
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings
• Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use
• Ongoing annual and quarterly training
