Continuous Improvement Intern
About The Position
Support the implementation and adoption of the Redzone system by preparing compliance and operational documentation for digital use and assisting operations leadership with training supervisors and operators on system usage. This role focuses on improving system adoption, data accuracy, and usability across production departments. The intern will work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to support digital transformation initiatives and enhance operational performance. Upon completion of the internship, the intern will present a summary of project work, outcomes, and key learnings to the leadership team.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS) as well as ability to navigate an iPad (Redzone).
Responsibilities
- Assist supervisors and operators with Redzone system usage
- Support logging of downtime events and production activity
- Troubleshoot device and tablet issues
- Provide hands-on training during production shifts
- Support accurate data entry and reporting
- Gather and organize paper-based documents
- Convert documentation into digital formats
- Upload and structure forms within Redzone
- Verify documentation with department leaders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work in production environments as needed
- Follow all food safety and safety procedures as outlined by Jones Dairy Farm
