About The Position

Join us as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer for the M&M’s production line and play a vital role in driving operational excellence across multiple shifts in this key production area. You’ll be a crucial part of the FMOS/RT implementation team, managing manufacturing systems, improving line event data integrity, and reducing downtime. Partnering closely with Production Leaders, you’ll lead a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists (CIS) to establish work standards, coach associates, and lead initiatives that boost efficiency and reliability. What are we looking for? Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply, or a technical field of study Experience in a manufacturing environment Project management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing and leveraging operational data Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving results Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage up to stakeholders Clear ability to relate to Associates across all levels of the organization Fluent in English Preferred: 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing 2+ years of people leadership experience What will be your key responsibilities? Drives loss elimination for the assigned area to include Line Loss Analysis and development of 90-day action plans to address losses and build associate capability Leads triad (CI, Maintenance and Production Lead) for preventative follow-up on all value stream technical breakdowns and escalates for support/action through the Maintenance Team Leaders or Reliability Engineers as required Owns and maintains all MSE standards (FI, FMOS, AM) for value stream Owns ideation and execution of improvement projects to deliver annual value leadership target for value stream Supports Commission, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects Champions TPM (MSE) AM deployment and all Safety and Quality standards and objectives for their area LM1 for Continuous Improvement Specialists, including development and performance evaluation What can you expect from Mars? The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply, or a technical field of study
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Project management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives
