About The Position

Join us as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer for the M&M’s production line and play a vital role in driving operational excellence across multiple shifts in this key production area. You’ll be a crucial part of the FMOS/RT implementation team, managing manufacturing systems, improving line event data integrity, and reducing downtime. Partnering closely with Production Leaders, you’ll lead a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists (CIS) to establish work standards, coach associates, and lead initiatives that boost efficiency and reliability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply, or a technical field of study
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Project management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing and leveraging operational data
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving results
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage up to stakeholders
  • Clear ability to relate to Associates across all levels of the organization
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Drives loss elimination for the assigned area to include Line Loss Analysis and development of 90-day action plans to address losses and build associate capability
  • Leads triad (CI, Maintenance and Production Lead) for preventative follow-up on all value stream technical breakdowns and escalates for support/action through the Maintenance Team Leaders or Reliability Engineers as required
  • Owns and maintains all MSE standards (FI, FMOS, AM) for value stream
  • Owns ideation and execution of improvement projects to deliver annual value leadership target for value stream
  • Supports Commission, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects
  • Champions TPM (MSE) AM deployment and all Safety and Quality standards and objectives for their area
  • LM1 for Continuous Improvement Specialists, including development and performance evaluation
