About The Position

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University has an opening for a full-time, continuing non tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of mechanics and materials. Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and innovation

Responsibilities

• teach undergraduate core and laboratory courses in mechanical engineering, especially in the area of mechanics and materials
• coordinating and maintaining course related laboratory equipment
• mentoring undergraduate students
• K-12 outreach
• developing new pedagogical methods
