About The Position

The Continuing Education Coordinator supports the coordination and staffing of continuing education programs for healthcare professionals. This role works closely with program managers to handle logistical components, including speaker arrangements, travel, and required documentation. The coordinator also assists with on-site program staffing to ensure seamless delivery and provides support with venue logistics, such as audiovisual needs and room setup.

Requirements

  • Valid and current driver's license.
  • 4 years of experience in education, health care, business administration or related field. Education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
  • Experienced in coordinating complex projects and events, including managing detailed schedules and logistical arrangements within defined time frames.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the program manager in the logistical details and speaker arrangements for continuing education programs that meet accreditation requirements, including speaker travel and hotel reservations, and speaker documents.
  • Attend programs, when necessary, and assist program manager with registration, instructions, and other assistance as needed.
  • Assist program manager with event venue arrangements, particularly audiovisual needs, facility setup, and event meals and refreshments.
  • Prepare essential program materials including name badges, sign in sheets, certificates, verification forms, evaluations, syllabus, and other course materials.
  • Assist program manager and financial staff in the preparation of the final program budget as it pertains to speaker travel and hotel accommodations, venue, meals, and other logistics described above.
  • Update budget documents as needed with estimated and actual expenses and revenues; prepare information for financial staff to process payments.
  • Assist program manager with delivery and dissemination of printed and/or digital marketing communications.
