About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Contents Restoration Department Manager to lead and grow our contents division. This role oversees all phases of pack-out, cleaning, inventory management, and pack-back operations following property damage events. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with restoration industry knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage teams, processes, and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in restoration, construction, or related field, including 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
  • Proficiency with job management or contents inventory platforms such as Encircle, Xactimate, iCat, or similar.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouses, damaged structures, or varying environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC certifications preferred (FSRT, WRT, CPT, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor contents restoration technicians to ensure professionalism, efficiency, and consistent, high-quality work.
  • Oversee the full contents restoration workflow, including pack-out procedures, item tracking, cleaning processes, storage, and pack-back logistics.
  • Manage digital inventory systems and job documentation with complete accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry and insurance requirements.
  • Partner with project managers, estimators, and production teams to coordinate schedules, resources, and job milestones.
  • Conduct routine quality control checks and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain, track, and ensure proper calibration of all restoration tools, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, job costing, labor utilization, and operational metrics to ensure profitability.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, insurance representatives, and internal teams, providing updates and ensuring service expectations are met or exceeded.
