Blackstone’s Marketing team protects and strengthens the Blackstone brand while advancing the firm’s business objectives. The Corporate Affairs Writer will serve as a bridge between marketing and firm’s investment business. In this role, you will develop and implement a global content strategy aimed at financial advisors, individual investors, and LPs. The successful candidate will bring innovative thinking to how the business reaches and communicates with investors, prospects and other industry stakeholder.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing and communications, ideally within financial services, asset management, or related professional services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a multi-channel content strategy
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior stakeholders and C-suite executives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy for our core businesses, collaborating closely with content creators across ICS, Private Wealth, and Blackstone Marketing
  • Provide editorial support to refine and enhance messaging for firmwide and business initiatives (e.g., thought leadership, CIO Office)
  • Partner with perpetual strategies content leads to create product marketing and educational materials (e.g., macro narratives, video scripts, market opportunity white papers) as well as opportunistic content (e.g., thought leadership, fund launches/raises, high-profile announcements)
  • Serve as subject-matter expert for content within Marketing
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of messaging and branding across initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams across Corporate Affairs (public affairs, design, video, events, firm insights, digital) to deliver creative services in support of these efforts, ensuring flawless and timely execution
