Anchored in the brand, the narrative provides the through-line that enables us to detail strategy and elevate communications programs. We are looking for a Content Strategist who can play a significant role in the agency's success, leading strategic thinking for a portfolio of accounts and contributing to new business efforts. While possessing a strong understanding of the power of content, this role requires a holistic view of strategy, applying external perspectives and innovative thinking to client challenges. This individual will develop and champion integrated strategies that leverage a variety of channels and tactics, with content as a core component. They will have a strong understanding of how marketing, sales, and product intersect, and how content serves as an effective bridge between these functions to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, multi-talented individual with excellent communication skills, a proven ability to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and craft compelling narratives that they can present and sell persuasively, gaining buy-in from clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. You should be comfortable navigating the digital landscape and possess a strong understanding of B2B communications. You are equal parts problem solver, writer, creative, and analyst. With endless curiosity, you are inspired and energized by solving client marketing challenges, particularly in the B2B space.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a strategic role, with a demonstrated ability to think holistically and integrate various channels and tactics into cohesive strategies.
  • Proven track record of contributing to and leading successful integrated strategies that have delivered measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of B2B & B2C marketing and communications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and potentially mentoring junior staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, and collaborative project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
  • Experience with SEO, social media, and other digital marketing channels is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integrated content strategies for assigned clients and projects, encompassing all stages from research and discovery to execution and measurement.
  • Conduct in-depth audience analysis, competitive audits, and market research to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans, communication frameworks, and messaging architectures that align with client objectives and target audience needs.
  • Co-facilitate or independently facilitate sections of strategy workshops with clients.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, editorial, digital, and account teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and integration.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, platforms, and technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation within your projects.
  • Contribute to the agency's thought leadership efforts by assisting with original research, POVs, and presentations.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback on their strategic contributions.
  • Support new business pitches, contributing to the development of strategic narratives and presenting to prospective clients when appropriate.
  • Lead client presentations for your assigned projects, effectively communicating complex strategic concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and contribute to the development of new service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted working relationships with clients, becoming a valuable strategic partner who understands their business and helps them achieve their goals.
