About The Position

The Content Marketing Manager will help develop and strategically market content that reaches consumers, physicians, and healthcare professionals on a national level to influence awareness, elevate recognition and reputation, and drive hospital preference for the NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia, and Weill Cornell Medicine academic healthcare system. In partnership with their leaders, this individual will equally support both editorial creation and marketing executions by helping to source, develop and edit content that establishes NewYork-Presbyterian’s authority as a trusted medical provider and showcases the clinical research and medical innovation that is a driver of successful patient outcomes. This individual will possess a strategic lens on multi-channel marketing through mediums such as web, social, video, and newsletter. Editorial duties will include coordinating interviews, conducting research to uncover potential content ideas, writing and editing written content, and trafficking reviews and approvals. From a marketing standpoint, the Manager will also have a significant role in developing marketing copy for paid and owned channels, independently and in partnership with our creative agency and internal partners. To ensure relevance and impact, this role will be a key player in monitoring marketplace trends and identifying insights, especially with SEO and generative AI, to ensure all content meets business objectives, leverages emerging opportunities, and is fully optimized. They will also take active ownership by continuously evaluating analytics and developing reports to understand performance and identify areas for improvement. This role will operate cross-functionally and proactively collaborate with members across Marketing and Communications to understand priorities, identify key clinical themes and trends, and support integrated marketing strategies that raise awareness, trust, and consideration for the NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia, and Weill Cornell Medicine hospital system. This is a full time day shift position working 4 days at our Corporate Office in mid-town Manhattan, and the ability for 1 day remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university
  • 5 years of marketing experience with a corporation or advertising agency
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, a proven track record of success
  • Working knowledge in CRM, Marketing Automation and Analytics tools
  • Demonstrated experience in synthesizing data into stories
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability for flexibility in scheduling, as some evenings and weekends may be required
