About The Position

This role sits at the intersection of product marketing and content. You will transform technical and strategic product insights into compelling content that drives awareness, shapes category perception, fuels integrated campaigns, and supports revenue growth. You are not a volume-copywriter. You are a strategic communicator who understands complex SaaS systems (data, pricing, billing, AI monetization) and turns them into crisp, differentiated narratives for a sophisticated buyer audience. You will partner closely with PMM, Campaigns, Sales, and the Head of Marketing to build a cohesive voice across launches, themes, and GTM motions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, content marketing, or a hybrid role
  • Experience writing for technical audiences (PMs, developers, finance teams, engineers)
  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing, billing, monetization, or data infrastructure (or excitement to learn)
  • Exceptional writing ability: crisp, analytical, and structured
  • A portfolio that demonstrates clarity, narrative strength, and product comprehension
  • Ability to simplify deeply complex concepts without losing nuance
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment where ambiguity is the norm
  • Collaborative mindset—you can work with PMM, Sales, Campaigns, and founders without ego

Responsibilities

  • Create high-impact content that translates Orb’s product value for technical and commercial audiences (Product, Engineering, Finance, C-suite).
  • Work on core deliverables including: Launching narratives, deep-dive product explainers, data stories, whitepapers, category POVs, pricing strategy content, and executive-level thought leadership
  • Partner with PMM to distill product updates into clear, differentiated messaging.
  • Help articulate major annual and quarterly themes
  • Understand personas (PMs, Product Leaders, Finance, Eng Leaders) and write with precision for each.
  • Work closely with Campaigns, Field, SDR, and Brand to deliver content that fuels integrated motions across channels including: LinkedIn ads and paid influencers SEO content designed for organic lift Persona-based nurture flows Outbound enablement for SDRs Event and conference content Sales assets content
  • Ensure consistency across the funnel from awareness to pipeline creation.
  • Develop and maintain a content pipeline that positions Orb as the authority in its chosen domains.
  • Partner with the CEO and founders on speeches, op-eds, and high-visibility narratives.
  • Work with Product, Sales, and CX to understand customer pain points, pricing models, product roadmap, and technical differentiators Turn that insight into content that strengthens demand and accelerates deals
