Office Work Model: Hybrid — In-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; remote Monday and Friday The Content Intern will support the NRF Content Team with event preparation, content organization, and onsite execution. Responsibilities include creating presentation materials, monitoring and updating event information, organizing speaker and session assets, and assisting with pre-event logistics. The intern will also help transfer past event data into updated platforms. During events, the intern will support stage managers and speakers by coordinating materials, guiding speakers to their locations, and assisting with onsite logistics as needed.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least sophomore standing
  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including high profile speakers
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to see projects through completion independently

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the following platforms preferred:
  • -Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • -Monday.com
  • -Canva
  • -Box.com
  • -Airtable
  • -Zoom
  • -Salesforce
  • Experience supporting events a plus
  • Familiarity with NRF and/or Retail's Big Show a plus

Responsibilities

  • Creating title slides for featured sessions using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Checking speaker registration lists weekly
  • Monitoring event website for updates to speaker page, session titles and descriptions, and session times
  • Continuous Q/A of Event apps for NRF Protect, NRF Nexus, Big Show and other events as needed
  • Assisting in creation of show flows for featured stages using Microsoft SharePoint
  • Sorting speaker and session assets in Box.com
  • Printing materials such as reserved signs, show flows, etc. for pre-event tasks
  • Supporting pre-event tasks as needed for NRF Summer Shows – Protect and Nexus
  • Assisting with transferring all past events data to new virtual whiteboard platform (Lucid) and Speaker Database on Airtable/Monday.com
  • Assisting featured stage managers onsite with tasks as needed, including but not limited to:
  • -Supporting speakers onsite (helping them find their session room, green room, etc.)
  • -Assisting with printed materials and sponsorship materials in green room or session rooms
  • -Assisting with reserved seating (if applicable)
